The Waking Dream Project
Josh Tippey, an actor/author/filmmaker contacted me and asked if I'd be interested in writing an original song for the audio book version of his novel The Waking Dream. After reading his book and thoroughly enjoying it, I was so excited to be able to write and arrange a song to his beautiful poem How Silver Shone the Sea. The audio book is read by Irene Bedard, an award winning actress, well known as the voice of Pocahontas in the Disney movie. It was a pleasure working with Josh and Irene, and they really made me feel like a part of the project, even though I was many miles away. We're so excited to share our song with you!
