I began recording a few Christmas songs while I lived in Gettysburg PA but had to put them on the back burner for a while during a move and preparing for the birth of our first child. After our baby was weaned and I began to settle into my new way of life as a mother I began editing and recording my Christmas songs again during some of her naps and in the evenings. I was encouraged by my husband and siblings to try and finish an album in time for this Christmas. With their help I was able to complete my first Christmas album, which I'm so excited to share with you! It should be available in the next few days, but until then feel free to listen to my first song "I Wonder as I Wander" in the video above.

My hope is for this collection of songs to convey the message of Love that came down to us on that very first Christmas. Many are ancient traditional carols, with one as old as the 13th century! There will also be an original Christmas song I wrote to a poem by Christina Rossetti. Besides singing I used mandolin, guitar, the tin whistle, and of course, lots of cello! I recorded and mixed everything at home, and my brother Nigel designed the album cover for me and helped me with the mastering. You can check out his music here: https://starrynightmedia.com/music/ and his services here: https://starrynightmedia.com/

On a personal note to my listeners, I want to say thank you for encouraging me in my music over the years. My hope is to continue to create, record and share more music with you whenever I can (including more Lord of the Rings songs)! You can listen to all of my Lord of the Rings songs here:
